An evidence-based, non-diet and weight inclusive approach to nutrition and health
WHAT IS INTUITIVE EATING?
Intuitive Eating is a non-diet and weight inclusive approach to nutrition which is made up of ten principles. Intuitive Eating helps us to move away from external regulation of food, such as dieting and food rules, and towards internal regulation based on hunger, satisfaction and fullness cues.
It is an evidence-based framework created by dietitians. Research shows that intuitive eaters have reduced disordered eating, improved mental health, greater body appreciation and more life satisfaction.
